A playful zine created by artists Kakan Hermansson and Evelina Kroon, produced in connection with a small exhibition at the konst-ig bookstore.
In this collaboration, the respective artistic expressions of Kakan Hermansson and Evelina Kroon meet in clay – in a shared exploration of the material’s possibilities, the power of intuition, and the everyday as a space containing both care and resistance;
Two seemingly very different artistic practices come together. Hermansson often works with an organic and expressive visual language, with ceramics at the center. Kroon moves within a more graphic and structured world, where precision, rhythm, and repetition interact. Despite their differing aesthetic approaches, they meet in the act of making – in a joint investigation of form, feeling, and the political charge of the everyday.
They share a deep knowledge of craft, a political awareness, and a trust in the material’s own will. Together, they show that intuition is a form of knowledge, that softness can be radical, and that the everyday can serve as an arena for structural analysis.
