Rhythm Nature Movement God' is the first comprehensive monograph dedicated to the work of painter Elisabeth Freiberg. Articulated around a new essay by Jurriaan Benshop and a conversation between the artist and Cinta Villapadierna-Kewenig, this publication surveys a body of works created between 2008 and 2020.
“Color, one could say, is at the heart of Frieberg’s practice. It establishes a relationship, both direct and true, with the world outside, and it roots the work in the earth, or, from that matter, in water an sky.” - Jurriaan Benschop
